Cenacle of Prayer Group
Our Rosary Cenacle was formed in response to the request made by our Blessed Mother to Fr. Don Stefano Gobbi on May 8, 1972---for priests, religious and the faithful to gather together, with her, in fervent prayer and fraternal love. She asked that cenacles be formed everywhere in the world, thus preparing humanity for a new era of grace and holiness. This Marian movement, which began in Italy, has taken root all over the world with tens of thousands of cenacles going on around the clock.
We gather in Church every Wednesday, immediately following our 8:30 am Mass, to pray the Holy Rosary, with the special intention to pray for our Pope, our bishops, priests and seminarians. We pray for our Queen of Angels Parish family and for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. In addition, on the last Wednesday of each month, following Mass and the praying of the Holy Rosary, we meet in the Chapel to read, pray and meditate on passages from our Blessed Mother to Fr. Gobbi, which he began to write down in 1973. The book, “To The Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons” now encompasses 25 years of messages.
It is wonderful to come together in the middle of the week and pray. We hope you will join us! Come and pray and petition Our Lady for your needs and those dear to you, as well as the needs of our troubled world.
